Where the live information comes from.
Every signal identifies whether it comes from an official feed or anonymous community reports.
Official traffic images
Singapore-side traffic images come from the LTA Traffic Images dataset through data.gov.sg. The images are made available under the Singapore Open Data Licence.
See camera status, source times and availability on the Camera Hub.
CausewayPulse caches and refreshes the feed to reduce unnecessary calls. Image timestamps remain visible so users can judge freshness.
Official holiday calendars
Singapore public holidays use Ministry of Manpower notices, including the official 2027 list. Malaysia nationwide dates use the Prime Minister's Department gazette listing, while Johor-only dates use the Johor State Government calendar. As checked on , Malaysia and Johor had not published their 2027 lists.
School breaks use the Singapore MOE newsroom and Malaysia KPM announcements. As checked on , neither authority had published its 2027 school-holiday calendar. Johor follows KPM Group B; no 2027 overlap window is calculated until both official calendars exist.
Community reports
Crossing durations come from anonymous submissions on CausewayPulse. They are estimates supplied by travellers and are not verified or endorsed by LTA or ICA. Every public estimate carries its calculation time, sample window, sample count and confidence level.
Woodlands and Tuas are calculated separately for Singapore → Malaysia and Malaysia → Singapore, producing four independent current states. Quarantined or duplicate reports do not affect public medians or checkpoint recommendations.
Independence
CausewayPulse is an independent platform and is not affiliated with or endorsed by LTA, ICA, data.gov.sg or the Singapore Government.
