Community crossing time

Travellers can anonymously report which checkpoint they used, their direction, total crossing duration and when they finished. We do not ask for a name, phone number, vehicle number or precise location.

Current level

The displayed number is the median of reports submitted for that checkpoint during the last three hours. Median is less easily distorted by one unusually fast or slow journey.

• Smooth: under 30 minutes
• Moderate: 30–59 minutes
• Heavy: 60–89 minutes
• Severe: 90 minutes or more

Confidence

Confidence is based on recent sample count: low for 1–2 reports, medium for 3–7, and high from 8 reports. No reports means no estimated level.

Checkpoint recommendation

We only highlight one checkpoint when both crossings have at least two recent reports and their medians differ by at least ten minutes. Your total route can still make the other crossing a better choice.
